A wonderful beach for swimming is located 10 kilometres from the hostel, whereto your family easily can bike by the cosy little roads.

There are great nature experiences to get in the area, and we would recommend the inlet of Ringkøbing which is famous for its wild fowls and spectacular nature. Here your family can visit Tipperne,
which is a preserved area for birds or you can bike along the coast.

Oksbøl has a number of sights, amongst them is the unusually spectacular amber museum and the old church, Aal Kirke, from the 1200s which is famous for its well-preserved murals.

An extensive number of guided tours in the countryside is offered by professional guides and gives the holiday an exciting substance.

A visit at the most western point of Denmark, Blåvandshuk, is a very unique experience. With its 39 metres the old lighthouse gives the area a very distinctive character.

The Fisheries and Maritime Museum is located on the outskirts of Esbjerg only about 20 km away, and is a very intriguing and educational experience for the entire family.

Givskud Zoo is exotic wildlife nearby. The family goes through the park in their own cars. Here lions and giraffes live side by side and often come very close to say hello to the guests. The zoo is definitely worth a visit!
